TITLE:  Bravo MS Reboots During Install of OS/2
 
 
ISSUE 
 
   Bravo MS systems with more than 64MB of system memory may reboot 
   while attempting to read the installation disk of OS/2 Warp, 
   version 3.0.
   
   This issue affects the following systems: 501533, 501534, 501535, 
   501650, 501651, 501659, 501660, 501701, 501702, 501703, 501754, 
   501772, 501774, 501777, 501814, 501815, 501860, 501952, 501954, 
   501955, 501956, 501972, and 503043.    

 
BACKGROUND 
 
   OS/2 Warp, version 3.0, may report systems as having 65MB which 
   is not a valid configuration.    

 
ACTION 
 
   Update the software using Fix_Pak26.
   
   Files XR_W026.1DK, XR_W026.2DK, XR_W026.3DK, XR_W026.4DK, 
   XR_W026.5DK, XR_W026.6DK, XR_W026.7DK, XR_W026.8DK, XR_W026.9DK, 
   XR_W026.ADK, XR_W026.BDK, XR_W026.CDK, XR_W026.DDK, Corrective 
   Service Boot Diskettes CSFBOOT.1DK, and CSFBOOT.2DK, can be found 
   on IBM's ftp site at he following address: 
      ftp://service.boulder.ibm.com/ps/products/os2/fixes
           /v3.0warp/english-us/xr_w026/
   
   The system also requires the LOADDSKF.EXE utility which is 
   available under the DISKIMGS subdirectory on both the CD-ROM and 
   diskette versions of OS/2 Warp.    

 
NOTES 
 
   The system memory must not exceed 64MB until the 
   installation of both OS/2 Warp and Fix_Pak26 have been 
   installed.
