Mount the Starter Disable Module

To install the starter disable module, do the following:

 1. Set AUTO/BYPASS to AUTO.

 2. Choose a location near your vehicle's starter solenoid for mounting
the disable module. See "Connect the Starter Disable Module" for
more information about the starter solenoid.

 3. Use the starter disable module's mounting holes as a guide and start
the screw holes by drilling two pilot holes inside the engine
compartment. Be careful not to drill into the vehicle's suspension
     system, wiring or the fender.

 4. Secure the starter disable module by inserting the supplied screws
into the mounting holes and into the engine compartment wall.

CONNECTING THE STARTER DISABLE MODULE

To connect the starter disable module, you must determine what type of
mounting system your vehicle uses for the starter solenoid and use the
correct instructions.

Most Ford vehicle's starter solenoids are fender mounted, while most other

Note: If you are unsure about the starter relay-to-ignition key wire,
ask your mechanic, or have a professional install your system.

 3. Connect the supplied male quick-disconnect terminal to the wire's
     starter relay side.

 4. Connect the supplied female quick-disconnect terminal to the wire's
     ignition key side.

 5. Connect the starter disable module's red wires to the appropriate
male/female quick disconnect terminals you installed.

 6. Route the starter disable module's yellow and black wire to the
     control module's location.

Note: To disconnect the starter disable module and reconnect the starter
relay wire to the ignition key wire, simply disconnect the vehicle's
       wires using the terminals.
