ET-180 (430-0373) FEATURES Faxback Doc. # 8367

Your Radio Shack ET-180 Two-Line Pulse/Tone Telephone with Hold allows you
to place or receive calls from two separate telephone lines. Either or
both of the lines may be placed on hold.

The ET-180 also has a switchable pulse/tone feature. This allows you to
use rotary service (which is cheaper than tone service) and still have
tone capability for special services, such as alternate long-distance
or bank-by-phone. Of course, if you have tone lines, simply leave the
ET-180 in the tone mode.

And remember -when you own your telephone you don't pay the monthly rental
fee for a telephone you save twice.

Other ET-180 Features Include:

* Different ringing sound for each line

*  Full 12-key tone capability

* Redial key that automatically dials the last number dialed, with the
push of a single button (pulse mode only)

* Mute key that temporarily disconnects the handset microphone during a
   conversation (pulse Mode only)

* Electronic ringer with adjustable volume

* Modular plug for quick connection

The ET-180 has been approved and registered for direct connection to the
phone lines. However, the phone company must be notified of the ET-180
FCC Registration and Ringer Equivalence numbers before connection is made.
The number are located on the bottom of the telephone.
