Basic Operation

level before you begin listening to a tape.

Follow these step to play a cassette tape:

1. Take up any tape slack by turning the cassette's hub with your finger
or a pencil. Avoid touching the tape.

2. Insert a cassette tape into the cassette compartment with its open
edge facing right and the side you want to hear facing up. The tape
    plays.

3. Adjust VOLUME, TONE, and BALANCE to suit your listening preferences.

4. Press EJ/FF to stop play and eject the tape.

The tape automatically stops when it reaches the end. Press EJ/FF
to eject the tape after it stops.

Fast-Forward

To fast-forward short section, gently press and hold down EJ/FF until you
reach the desired section. Then release the button. Play continues.

To rewind a tape, turn over the tape and use fast-forward.

NOTE: Avoid using C-120 cassette tapes. They are very thin and easily
become tangled in the tape-handling parts.
