The Tandy DMP 205 Dot-Matrix Printer is a high-density, dot matrix
printer that prints in a variety of type styles.

Your printer can print the following:

-Proportionally-spaced characters
-Monospaced characters (standard, condensed, and compressed)
-Eight LQ (Letter-quality) correspondence fonts
-Scalable Roman and Sans Serif fonts - from a size of 8 up to 32 point
-Superscript/subscript
-Bold
-Underline
-Graphics (standard, high-resolution, and raster-graphic)
-Five code pages (437, 850, 860, 863, and 865)
-Seven colors with an optional color ribbon (Cat. No. 26-2900)

Other features include:

-Automatic paper loading
-Paper park
-Super-speed drift mode
-Font and pitch selection via hardware
-Hex dump function
-Lightweight - weighs only 9 1/2 pounds

You can use two types of paper with this printer:

-Tractor-fed, 4 1/2 to 10-inch wide fanfold paper with guide holes
-Friction-fed, single-sheet paper

You control most printing functions through software that lets you select
any of these printer driver:

-Tandy DMP 205 (EPSON)
-Epson LQ-570/850/870
-Epson LQ-860/2500/2550(for color printing)

The printer's function switches affect four printing functions.
The factory settings for the function switches are appropriate for most
situations.  If your software requires different settings, see "Function
Switches."  Complete the procedures in "Setting up the Printer" before
