1. Overview

Welcome to the MyExplorerBar -- add-on enhancement for Windows Explorer and
Internet Explorer. MyExplorerBar integrates directly with Explorer window
-- it acts as communication band. MyExplorerBar provides features missed
by many users of Windows Explorer, that is, selection masks for selecting
files with the same characteristics (e.g., "my*.tx?"), fast access to
favorite folders and shortcuts to favorite programs, files or WWW links.
All items are arranged inside fully customizable toolbars, so they can be
accessed usually by one or two mouse clicks. MyExplorerBar supports drag
and drop for easy customization as well as set of Add Wizards.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. Current version

Current version is 1.10. MyExplorerBar is shareware -- it can be evaluated
for 30 days and after this period it has to be registered or removed from
the system.

We appreciate to hear every user's feedback, comments or suggestions
to improve MyExplorerBar and make next versions as useful as possible.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. Requirements

   - 3.0 MB free disk space
   - PC Pentium 90 or better
   - 16MB RAM (32MB RAM or more is generally recommended)

MyExplorerBar depends on several technologies introduced by Internet
Explorer 4.0, so it can run on the following platforms:

   - Microsoft Windows 95 with Internet Explore 4.x or higher
   - Windows 98
   - Windows NT 4.0, Service pack 3 or higher, Internet Explore 4.x or higher
   - Windows 2000

Internet Explorer has to be installed with user interface enhancements.
It is recommended to use Internert Explorer 5.01 service pack 1 or Internet
Explorer 5.5 for the best results.

4. User Interface Enhancements (Desktop Update) by Internet Explorer

Desktop Update is discussed in detail inside an article "How to Add
or Remove Windows Desktop Update" (Article ID: Q165695) provided by
Microsoft Product Support Services. This article can be reached by
searching Knowledge Base at Microsoft Developer Network web site (msdn.microsft.com) or by following this direct link:

User interface (UI) enhancements (Desktop Update) are installed by
Internet Explorer (version 4.x). UI enhancements influence mainly look
and feel of the Windows Explorer window and enable technologies
used by MyExplorerBar to provide its functionality. User can easily
determine if UI enhancements are enabled or not:

a) Open Windows Explorer and look at the toolbar buttons.
b) If the toolbar buttons are flat and similar to the Internet Explorer
toolbar buttons then UI enhancements are enabled.
c) If the toolbar buttons have 3D look and they are different from
Internet Explorer toolbar buttons then UI enhancements are very likely
   disabled.

If UI enhancements are disabled you can enabled them following this
(tedious) procedure:

a) Uninstall IE.
b) Install IE 4.x and enable Desktop Update during the setup.
c) Install back your current version of IE.

shell. This item is available for folders and shortcuts
           specifying full path.
Added: Multiple files or folders can be dropped on a Folder button.
Such drop invokes "Move here/Copy here/..." menu allowing to
directly move, copy or create shortcuts inside directory
specified in the Folder button definition. This feature is
available for folders specifying full path.
Added: Multiple files or folders can be dropped on a Shortcut button.
Such drop opens the application defined inside the Shortcut
button with the dragged data. This feature is available for
           shortcuts specifying full path.
Added: New Drag and Drop property page inside the Options property

           buttons during drag and drop.

  Fixed Problems:
