                  INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS                               
         ---------------------------------------------                    
         1) Copy SpiralSaver.scr to:                                      
                                                                          
               C:\Windows\           Windows 95/98                        
               C:\WINNT\System32     Windows NT/2000                      
                                                                          
         2) Open your display settings, either through                    
            your control panel or by right-clicking                       
            the desktop. Go to the Screen Savers tab                      
            and select the Spirals screen saver.

                      MISCELLANEOUS INFO                                  
         ---------------------------------------------                    
         To Run the program without installing, simply                    
         double click the file. To open the config box,                   
         right click it, and choose option "configure".                   
                                                                          
         Adjust the number of particles and their size                    
         to fit the speed of your graphics card and                       
         your personal taste. If your video driver does                   
         not support hardware accelerated OpenGL, this                    
         program will run very slow. I personally                         
         recommend using a NVidia GeForce2 chipset 8-)                    
                                                                          
         To customize the texture map, be sure to set                     
         both the colour and the alpha BMP's, or it                       
         won't work. The colour BMP must be 24 bit, and                   
         the alpha BMP must be 8 bit. The must be the                     
         same size, and they must be a power of two in                    
         size (ie, 16,32,64,128,256,512,...). I have 
         included sample colour and alpha texture maps
         as examples.
