chaossim.exe (880,590 Bytes) - Chaotic Motion Simulation --

ChaosSim is a Win95/NT4 graphic simulation of chaotic motion.

The visual fluidity of the simulations makes for some very interesting effects, and has
been described as sometimes looking like solar flares or volcanic erruptions.

The programme may be used as an stand alone application or changed to screen saver
depending on how its named. If it's to be used as a screen saver it needs to be
renamed 'chaossim.scr' and put with your other screen savers in the Windows system folder.

** At the MSDOS prompt type.... 'rename chaossim.exe chaossim.scr'**
--> two batch file are available to automate the rename...
--> 'makescrn.bat' converts chaossim.exe to chaossim.scr -- a screen saver
--> 'makeapp.bat' converts chaossim.scr to chaossim.exe -- an application
[ NOTE:- You cannot rename it if it's currently running ]

 ==> You'll have to manually place the chaossim.scr file into your Window's system folder.

Various options are adjustable to enhance the simulation. A description of the programme
and its options is provided in the menu --Help/About-- dialog box.

********> Allow the simulation time to evolve the fluid patterns <********

!! On slow systems reduce the number of balls used using nemu --Balls--!!
{{ Adjusting menu --Display/Hold Time-- can help reduce flicker }}
## Try adjusting the fans blowing range using the menu --Fans-- ##
== Generate delicate fibrous patterns by turning ball trails on using Display/Trails menu ==
--> If the balls become dispersed and boring, hit the --New-- menu for a another simulation <--
