Gravity Simulator v0.1 Readme - April 23/00

Gravity Simulator is an educational tool intended to illustrate how gravity works based on the Law of Universal Gravitation.

To install Gravity Simulator, extract all files to a temporary location and run setup.exe, and follow the instructions on screen.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Gravity Simulator requires the Visual Basic 5.0 or later runtime files, namely:

msvbvm50.dll
asycfult.dll
comcat.dll
comdlg32.ocx
ctl3d32.dll
oleaut32.dll
olepro32.dll

This means that you must either have Visual Basic 5.0 or higher installed on your computer or you must have the runtime files required to run Visual Basic 5.0 or later programs. If you do not have the runtime files then you can acquire them at:

ftp.simtel.net/pub/simtelnet/win95/dll

All of the required files are (at the time of writing of this readme file) in a zip file called:

vb500a.zip

and the zip contains an automatic installer/uninstaller, meaning it won't be a big deal to get these files in the right place, nor to get rid of them.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You must have the aforementioned runtime files before you try to install Gravity Simulator. If you do not have them, close this readme, acquire the files, then come back and install Gravity Simulator.

Gravity Simulator is Freeware. It can be distributed in any form as long as it is in its original form (i.e. contained within the zip file that this readme is include in) and no monetary or other consideration is asked by the distributor.
