Purpose of the Control:

This control will allow you to add scripting to virtually any application written in a modern, ActiveX capable language.

This is accomplished through properties, methods and events that will let you add functionality to the base scripting language easily.

It has been thoroughly tested with Microsoft Corporation's Visual Basic 5.0 and 6.0 and Inprise Corporation's Borland C++ Builder 4.0 and 5.0.

It SHOULD work with Borland's Delphi line (4.0 and above), though these tools have not been thoroughly tested (by us) with our control, they are advertised (and we believe them) to be able to use ActiveX controls.

It sort of works under Visual Basic 4.0 32-bit, but since it uses extensions to the ActiveX standards not supported by Visual Basic 4.0, we can't recommend its use under Visual Basic 4.0.

Doubleclick the help file (Xlang10.hlp) and then read through, and execute, the example programs, these are the quickest ways to start.
Demo applications for VB 6 and Borland C++ Builder 5.0 are available on our web site.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
An interpreter inside a control is a hard concept to explain sometimes, try using it first then read the help files and review the examples.
