README.TXT file for Omnida Digital Assistant (ver.1.00)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
NOTE: This program will not run on Windows NT.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Welcome to the Omnida Digital Assistant. Omnida is a Win95/98
application for organizing and maintaining a variety of personal
and/or business information on your IBM compatible PC. With
Omnida you can maintain your daily Schedule, keep an Address Book,
maintain a Journal, set Reminders for yourself or others and
set several different Alarms. Omnida's integration of these
different functions makes it an easy to use and tightly integrated
Personal Information Manager.

Omnida is installed on your Windows95/98 system by double-
clicking the SETUP.EXE program icon found in the folder where
you have decompressed the .ZIP archive. From that point on
the process is painless and self-explanatory.

This copy of Omnida is a 30 day evaluation version. It is released
as shareware. Please see the Help file for further information on
how to register your copy of the Omnida Digital Assistant

PLEASE SEND BUG REPORTS, COMMENTS, QUESTIONS ETC. TO:

WITH THE SUBJECT:

	Omnida 1.00

IN THE SUBJECT FIELD OF THE EMAIL.

This installation does NOT copy any files to your Windows\System
folder. It does, however, copy some runtime .dll libraries to it's
own folder to make certain that they are available on your system.
These files include:

	MFC42.DLL
	MSVCRT.DLL

If you would like to try and recover some disk space, you may inspect
your Windows\System folder for these files. If they are present,
Omnida MAY function correctly without the above files in it's
own folder. You can try sending the local ..\Omnida copies to the
recycle bin. If Omnida complains, just restore them to the
Omnida folder. Otherwise, they can be safely deleted later.

Thank you for evaluating the Omnida Digital Assistant. I hope
you find the program fills a need.
