How to setup LAN-Mail V1.3b1
============================

After releasing V1.3b1 of LAN-Mail I got many mails of people who didn't know how to get LAN-Mail to work, so I decided to write this small manual. I plan to release v1.3b2 soon, so I won't update the website real soon. Also I want to move to my own server and then, everything will be shining. But till then, this have to be enough, Sorry.

Install the program
===================
1. Just run install.exe and follow the instructions

Sharing the folder
==================
1. Right-Click on your LAN-Mail directory and select "Sharing"
2. Type in the following:
   Share Name : lanmail (without "-")
   Comment : anything you like, it's not necessary
   Access Type: Full (Read/Write)
   Passwords : do not use passwords, otherwise LAN-Mail won't work

Now your LAN-Mail folder can be accessed by \\nick\lanmail [if your computer's name is nick]

Setting up LAN-Mail
===================
Let's say you have 3 computers in the LAN:

user    computername  lan-mail path
Nicky      \\nick          \\nick\lanmail  [that's you]
Michael    \\mike          \\mike\lanmail
Carl       \\carl          \\carl\lanmail

To setup LAN-Mail to send mails to Mike and Carl, do the following

1. Click on Utilities and select Options

2. Fill in:
            name     computer's name
   Local    Nicky       nick
   Target1  Michael     mike
   Target2  Carl        carl
   Target3
   Target4

The field name is just for alias. 'Local' defines, the text in the 'From' field
Name for Target1-4 just defines the name in the Send menu

3. Select the other options at Language and Notification

4. Click OK and select Save

Now click on Send and a menu will pop up. It has the entries Michael and Carl.
