expinst.zip ExpressIT! 2000 v1.10: 32-bit e-mail system

ExpressIT! 2000 is a messaging system for Windows 95 and NT users. It
is a versatile, 32-bit client that works with a variety of e-mail systems
including Connect2, IMAP4, MAPI, POP3, SMF/MHS, SMTP, and VIM.

ExpressIT! 2000 provides a multi-protocol alternative to e-mail packages
designed to work with only one transport. Therefore, it enables users
with changing requirements to use a single e-mail client.

ExpressIT! 2000 is full of features that help your users organize and
track their electronic communication. Create multiple file folders to
store information. Choose your message sort order on the fly for message
threading. Send messages via registered mail to track their delivery.
Create rules to automatically sort mail as it arrives. Utilize the spell
checker to ensure that messages are always letter perfect. Addressing is
easy, too. ExpressIT! 2000 automatically generates lists of user names
from all the networks with which you communicate. Just select a name
from the public list or a personal address book to send a message. You
can also create your own group mailing lists, and cc: (carbon copy) and
bcc: (blind carbon copy) addressing are supported as well.

ExpressIT! 2000 also provides global folders for workgroup
collaboration. Now, there's an easy way for everyone in your workgroup
to share ideas and solve problems, regardless of their work location.
This implementation is based upon the Network News Transport Protocol
(NNTP) standard, providing access to existing Internet newsgroups, as
well as private newsgroups created within your organization. Server
support for the creation and maintenance of your private newsgroups can
be provided by the Infinite InterChange product.

Special requirements: None.
