GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Pigeon Mail&Fax is the data exchange software that unifies capabilities
of facsimile messages and Internet mail exchange into one multifunction package.

Product features:
- Pigeon Mail&Fax runs virtually in any MS Windows - 3.1/95/98/NT4.0.
- The program supports up to 4 modems working simultaneously, so,
  it can satisfy heavy faxing needs.
- MAPI support provided by Pigeon Mail&Fax allows sending Internet and fax
  messages from any MAPI aware application. Besides Pigeon Mail&Fax installs
  its own printer fax driver, thus allowing to fax documents the same way
  as to print them from any application.
- The program supports dial-up, LAN, and manual connection to Internet.
- Internet message transfer tracking. If a recipient also uses Pigeon Mail&Fax,
  then upon receiving a message recipient's software issues notification reply
  to sender's address. Similar notification is being sent after browsing
  a message. Thus, the sender receives information about the message status.
- Possibility to automate correspondence. Simple visual tools allow user
  to create scenarios, which are executed automatically in varieties of events,
  performing operations conditioned by time and message properties.
  Several sample scenarios are supplied in the installation package.
- Address Book incorporates information about e-mail and fax addresses.
  Both e-mail and fax addresses may be joined into groups, allowing one-touch
  sending multiple facsimile and e-mail messages of same contents.

- Supplementary features:
  - Backup and Restore for Messages Database and Address Book.
  - Possibility to send fax messages at cheap time.
  - Possibility to configure modem manually at modem command level.
  - Monitoring of fax sending and receiving process.
  - Message Reject feature allows to cancel outgoing message transfer.
  - Automatic detection of encoding type and character set of incoming messages;
    possibility to set encoding type for outgoing mail;
    voluntary assignment of character set and font to display a message.
  - English message text spell checker.
  - Powerful Find Message utility.
  - Automatic assembly of partial incoming Internet messages into one.
  - Fax Cover Page Editor with the capability to insert fields inherent
    to a message such as sender's or recipient's name, subject, date, time, etc.
    Sample cover pages are included.
  - Anti-Spam capability.
  - 'Huge message' warning feature allows user to view headers of large
    messages and to delete them on server, avoiding needless downloading.

MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

- IBM PC compatible 486DX2-66;
- Any MS Windows platform;
- HDD free space - 6 MB;
- RAM - not less than:
  - 4 MB for Windows 3.1;

  - 16MB for Windows NT;
- Fax-modem class 1/2/2.0. for fax features;
- Internet access for Internet e-mail.

HOW TO INSTALL PIGEON MAIL&FAX

The installation package contains self-extracting archive Pigeon.exe .
After launching, it unpacks the set of files and runs setup program that guides
you through the installation process.
After installation, at first start, the program launches configuration wizards
allowing to configure fax and Internet mail operation.

REGISTRATION

Unregistered Pigeon Mail&Fax is fully functional within 30 days after
installation. If you do not register within 30 days, then the program
looses the fax sending capability. 
When you decide to register Pigeon Mail&Fax, you should simply click a button
on 'registration warning' dialog, which appears at program start.
After that the default web browser will run and load the web page for
registration.

Registration of Pigeon Mail&Fax can be performed online at address:

Within 3 days after payment, you will receive Registration Code via e-mail.
You will have to enter your Registration Code in 'registration warning' dialog.
