2. WINDOWS 95 INSTALLATION

- When you boot windows (after the uninstall above) with the InterWave
device in the machine, the install will be mostly automatic. Make sure
that you use the right install for the card you have.

- Window's may prompt you to reboot prematurely if there is a PnP conflict.
Don't reboot. Instead, complete the install, and then fix the conflicts,
and then reboot. This way, you won't be forced to reboot after each
logical device, rather, you can fix the error after all of the devices
are installed. This will save you 30 minutes of agravation and multiple
  reboots.

- Choose Windows default driver for "Game Port/Joystick". You may be required to provide
the Windows 95 installation CD-ROM and/or floppy disk set at this time.

- At the end of installation, Windows 95 will prompt you to reboot your
system to activate all installed software.

4. KNOWN BUGS OR PROBLEMS

- The COMPAQ release has a serial EEPROM file called COMPAQ.ROM. This file
matches the contents of the EEPROM on your board. A replacement EEPROM
map is in the file COMPNEW.ROM. This newer map will pass the microsoft
PNP tests, and display the correct logical device names in the COMPAQ
setup program. The old one will display the MPU401 device twice.

- IWINIT.EXE may still need user intervention if IWINIT encounters a
broken system BIOS. The document IWINIT.DOC describes
how to finetune your IW.INI file if you are having problems.

5. Fixes since previous release
- Added WodSetVolume support.
- ETEKMOD.DRV now works on Windows 3.1.
- IWINIT.EXE now works as a .SYS driver
- effects don't disappear after playing a MIDI or MOD file.
- PnP SCHREECH sound no longer appears when re-installing hardware, or when
new USB devices are plugged in.
