CT-105 (170-1079) Installation Faxback Doc. # 7553

Note: If you are not familiar with vehicle electrical systems, we
strongly suggest that you contact a professional installer.

Caution: Before starting work, disconnect the vehicle battery for safety.

1. Select a mounting location (usually under the dash) for the horn alert
    control box.

Note: Be sure there are no hydraulic pipes, fuel lines, or electrical
           cables behind the chosen location.

2. Using the horn alert control box as a template, mark and drill
mounting holes in the selected location.

Note: Be sure you do not damage any vehicle parts.

3. Attach the horn alert control box using the supplied self-tapping
    screws.

4. Disconnect the wire on the car horn's positive (+) terminal. Connect
the orange wire on the horn alert control box to this (+) terminal,
then reconnect the horn wire to the piggy-back terminal on the orange
wire. The orange wire's special connector and the supplied crimp
connectors provide a secure connection for the horn wire in most
    vehicles.

Note: When electrical cables pass through a bulkhead, you must
protect them against damage caused by sharp edges.

5. Connect the horn alert control box's red wire to the vehicle battery's
positive (+) terminal, or to a fuse box terminal that provides power
when the vehicle's ignition is off.

6. Connect the horn alert control box's white power wire to the white
wire on the power connector on the cellular telephone using the
supplied connector. Use a pair of pliers to make the connection and
close the casing to ensure a reliable contact.

7. Check all electrical connections and reconnect the vehicle battery.
