MAKING THE WINMATE DEMO CONTINUOUS ON THE 3200

The demo is located in the Inside section of WinMate. Select
the Winmate demo icon and a 3200 and WinMate demonstration will
begin. The demo is approximately 2-3 minutes long. By default the
demo will play and then return you to the Inside screen when it is
complete. In order to set up the demo so that it will continuously run
follow the instructions listed below:

(1) In Program Manager, from the Accessories Group, select the
    Notepad icon.

(2) From Notepad, select the Open option from the File pull-down
    menu.

(3) When prompted to enter a filename to open, type:

    C:\WINMATE\DEMO\DEMO.SPT <ENTER>

(4) Find the section of the file labeled [END]. Obviously, this
section is one of the last in the file. That section of the
file will look something like this:

     [END]
     CMD=END

(5) Please change the line under the [END] section to the following:

     [END]
     CMD=START

(6) From the File pull-down menu select Exit. You will be prompted
with the question, "Do you wish to save changes (Y/N) ?".
     Type:

     y <ENTER>

(7) You do not have to restart Windows for the change to take
effect. Once the demo is selected, the program will access the
demo.spt file and read the change you have made. The demo for
WinMate under the Inside section will now run continuously when
     selected.

EXITING THE CONTINUOUS DEMO

(1) In order to exit the demo during its continuous run, you must
    press <CTRL> <ALT> and <ESC> simultaneously.

(2) The Task List screen will appear. Select either End Task or
or WinMate. Either selection will return you to WinMate. You
will then be able to run or work with any other programs in
    either WinMate or Program Manager.

(3) You will not be able to exit the WinMate or Program Manager
session though, due to the fact that the Demo is still running
in the background. There is not a way to close the Demo to be
able to exit Program Manager or WinMate. In order to be able to
end the Demo and exit your current session to an MS-DOS prompt,
you will need to follow the instructions located in the Changing
the Demo from Continuous to Single-Run section of this document.

CHANGING THE DEMO FROM CONTINUOUS TO SINGLE-RUN
