2MB Memory Module (25-3508)
6MB Memory Module (25-3527)

Memory Upgrade and Management Information:

You can expand your computer's memory by installing a RAM (random access
memory) module. The computer comes with 2MB of RAM. You can add a 2MB RAM
module for a total of 4MB of memory or a 6MB module for a total of 8MB of
memory.

The computer has 640KB of standard memory and 1024KB of extended memory.
Depending on the requirements of the operating system and the programs you
run, you can use an EMS (expanded memory specification) driver, such as
TEMM3820.SYS, to configure the memory as expanded memory.

CAUTIONS:

* Use only the specified RAM modules with your computer.
* Do not drop foreign materials, such as a paper clip, into the RAM module
compartment. A short circuit could occur, seriously damaging the computer.

Use the following procedure to install a RAM module:

1. Turn off the Resume function if it is on. Then, turn off the computer.
2. Remove the cover from the bottom of the computer.
3. Position the module so that its oval hole fits over the pin in the
computer. Then, gently push the module into the computer's slot until
   the module snaps into position.

CAUTION:

The RAM module is keyed and fits only one way. Do not force the module into
the computer's slot.

4. Secure the module using the two screws supplied with the module.
5. Replace the cover. Then, turn on the computer.
6. Press RESET to restart the computer.
7. Run the SETUP382 Utility. This allows the computer to recognize the
   installation of the additional memory.
8. To configure the extra memory as expanded memory, install the TEMM3820.SYS
EMS device driver. Place the following line in the config.sys file using
an MS-DOS text editor, such as EDIT.COM.

   device=c:\dos\temm3820.sys /M=n

Note: The n in the line above represents the amount of extended memory used
as expanded memory. The number you enter in this space depends on the
extended memory available in your computer and the Shadow RAM setting in the
SETUP382 Utility.

9. Press RESET again to restart the computer and load the TEMM382.SYS EMS
   driver.
