The math coprocessor socket is located on the main logic board. Refer to
Opening the Computer for instructions on how to reach the main logic board.

CAUTION: Incorrect installation of the Intel 80387SX math coprocessor can
damage the coprocessor and/or the main logic board.

Read the instructions in this section completely before attempting to
install your math coprocessor. You can also refer to the installation
instructions included with the coprocessor. Radio Shack Service Center
technicians will install optional devices if you choose not to do so
yourself.

CAUTION: Before handling electrical components, be sure to touch a grounded
metal object to release any static electric charge.

1. Locate and set the jumper for the math coprocessor installation. Refer to
Main Logic Board Layout to locate the jumper. For a list of jumper
   settings, refer to Configuration Settings.

2. Orient the math coprocessor so that the dot on the corner of the
coprocessor aligns with the notched corner (labeled 1) of the socket.

CAUTION: Be sure that the math coprocessor is properly oriented before you
press it into its socket. Removal of this coprocessor requires a special IC
extraction tool.

3. Taking care not to bend or touch the metal pins, press the coprocessor
   into the socket.
