************************************************************
* 7.  INSTALLATION SWITCHES AVAILABLE
************************************************************

The installation program executable is to be named SETUP.EXE
and will have the following syntax. Switches are not case
sensitive and may be specified in any order (except for the
-s switch). Switches must be separated by spaces.

SETUP [-b] [-no{pp}] [-basic] [-g{xx[x]}] [-nomsg]
[-16x640x480][-nolic] [-s]

-b	Forces a system reboot after the installation
	completes.

-no{pp}	Disables the specified Intel-designed property
	pages.

{pp} is one of the following:

{pp}	Description
clr	Removes the color property page from the Display
	Properties sheet
tvout	Removes the TV-Out property page from the Display
	Properties sheet
fp	Removes the Flat Panel property page from the
	Display	Properties sheet
ver	Removes the Version property page from the Display
	Properties sheet
display	Removes the Display property page from the Display
	Properties sheet
diag	Removes the end-user diagnostic button found on the
	Version tab

-basic	Removes all Intel-designed property pages/features
from the Display Properties sheet. This switch
	overrides all -no{pp} switch settings.

-g{xx[x]}	Forces the installation to install a
particular language version of the driver.
The messages displayed to the user are also
displayed in the language specified. If
the language version of the operating system
on which the installation is being run
		doesnÆt support the specified language,
the displayed messages may be garbage text.

{xx[x]} is one of the following:
{xx[x]}	Language
CHS or CH	Chinese (Simplified)
CHT or TW	Chinese (Traditional)
DAN or DK	Danish
DEU or GR	German
ENG English (UK)
ENU or US	English (US)
ESM Spanish (Mexican)
ESN or SP	Spanish (Modern)
ESP Spanish (Traditional)
FIN or FI	Finnish
FRA or FR	French (Standard)
FRC French (Canadian)
ITA or IT	Italian
JPN or JP	Japanese
KOR or KR	Korean
NLD or NL	Dutch
NOR or NO	Norwegian (Bokmal)
PLK or PL	Polish
PTB or BR	Portuguese (Brazilian)
PTG or PT	Portuguese
RUS or RU	Russian
SVE or SE	Swedish
THA or TH	Thai

-nomsg	Suppresses the displaying of non-critical messages.
During the file-copy process when installing the
driver (not the EUD), the installation program may
come across earlier or later versions of system files.
The install will never replace newer versions of these
files. It may replace older versions of files. If
the older file is not read-only, it will be replaced.
When the older file is read-only, this switch
instructs the install to not prompt the user for
confirmation to over write the older file. In this
case it will always overwrite the older file. If the
switch is not specified, the user will be prompted to
confirm overwriting the older file. This flag has no
affect on the installation of system files required by
	the EUD.

-nolic	Suppresses the display of the license agreement screen.

--<color depth>x<horizontal resolution>x<vertical resolution>x
        <refresh rate>
Sets the default display mode. If no display mode switch
is specified, the display mode will be set to 16x800x600.
Example: -8x640x480x70 will set the color palette to 256
colors (8-bit color depth), the desktop resolution to
640x480, and the refresh frequency to 70 hertz. If no
display mode switch is specified, the display mode will
        be set to 16x800x600x60.

-s Run in blind mode. In blind mode all visual indication
that the installation is taking place is disabled. In
blind mode the installation requires no user
interaction and all selections which normally require
user input will	use the default selections. This switch
must be the last switch specified on the command line.

Specifying Default Switches
Default switches may be specified by modifying the
SETUP.INI and INSTALL.CFG files. When the install
program	is invoked it first reads the SETUP.INI file to
see if the blind mode switch is specified. If it is, the
install	program will always run in blind mode regardless
of what switches are specified in the INSTALL.CFG file
and on the invocation command line. After reading the
SETUP.INI file it checks to see if other switches apply.
If switches were specified on the command line, it
ignores any switches specified in the INSTALL.CFG file
and uses only those specified on the command line. If
no switches were specified on the command line, it reads
the INSTALL.CFG	file and uses switches specified in that
	file.

SETUP.INI Switches
The only switch that may be specified in the SETUP.INI
file is the blind mode switch (-s). No other switches may
be specified in this file. All other switches should be
specified in the INSTALL.CFG file. The blind mode switch
is added to the CmdLine line of the [Startup] section as
	follows:

[Startup]
CmdLine=-s
INSTALL.CFG Switches
All switches except for the blind mode switch (-s) may be
specified in the INSTALL.CFG file. They should be added
to the CmdLine line in the [Configuration] section
following the format specified in the Command Line
Syntax section above. An example INSTALL.CFG file is
	should below:

[Configuration]
CmdLine=-16x640x480 -b -notvout
Example Invocation Syntax

SETUP -s
SETUP -b
SETUP -gus -b -s
SETUP -gGR
SETUP -basic -gNOR
SETUP -notvout -s
SETUP -16x640x480 -b -s
